Marcus is on tour with Devil’s Isle Shakespeare Company in Bermuda. He plays Prospero in an adaptation of The Tempest, directed by Séamus Miller with original compositions by the director and Emily Erickson.
This summer he directed Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s outdoor production of Julius Caesar. He also continued an ongoing collaboration with the Adirondack Theatre Festival and Ken Tingley on a new play about the plight of the American Newspaper.
Marcus was last seen on stage in his adaptation of Beowulf. Directed by Chris Curtis, Beowulf, A Retelling played to raves and sold out houses in April at Taffety Punk Theatre Company. Previously Marcus was delighed to be in the cast of The Seafarer by Conor McPherson at Round House Theatre. directed by Artistic Director Ryan Rilette.
